Saint-Maurice-sur-Dargoire, near de Mornant, is the last Rhône departement before the start of the Loire departements with the border been the Bozançon river in the south. |

There are many other distinguishing features in the village, there are many crosses to be found, on buildings and on paths in the hamlet. Up to 60 have been recorded. Also in the local area, there are nearly 30 hamlets all within a region of 1620 hectares. Other items of interest include, the century old oak tree, the hill of the gibbet, the well with miraculous waters and many very ancient buildings dating from the 16th Century. |
